Clinical Key Offers Free CME



1.    Create a personal account by clicking the Register link at the top right corner of the Clinical Key homepage.
2.    Search for an answer to a clinical question – access book, journal, or FirstConsult content.
3.    Find – Study a result to find what you need and click on the CME icon.

4.    Redeem – Complete the Cleveland Clinic form and submit to earn credit!

Accessing the FirstConsult App



FirstConsult is a point-of-care tool available through our Institutional subscription to Clinical Key.   You can search FirstConsult through Clinical Key at any Ministry computer.      FirstConsult is also available as a stand-alone iPhone / iPad app.

First Consult offers point-of-care monographs that leverage evidence-based medical information into succinct, clinical answers that are trusted, quick, and accessible from world-renowned physician experts.

·         Evidence-based medical information is distilled through the collaborative editorial process, ensuring the content is accurate, current and relevant to your practice.
·         Workflow-friendly format characterized by succinct, bulleted answers presented within two clicks
·         More than 1400 primary care disease topic pages covering risk factors, treatments, clinical manifestations, ddx, dosing info, best evidence, and more.

How to get the App:
Before you download the FirstConsult App, you must first create an account in Clinical Key.  If you don't have one, then begin with step 1. If you already have one, skip to Step 4 below :
  1.  Visit Clinical Key on a Ministry work computer.
  2. Click on the Register link.
  3. Enter the required data -- your email address will be your username.
  4. Search the App Store for First Consult.   3 options will appear : Choose Option 1 "I use FirstConsult and know my username."    When prompted, login using your newly created personal login.

Setting up a Personal Account in Clinical Key





5 Simple Steps to Create a Personal Account
1.    Visit Clinical Key within your institutional network or IP Range.
2.    Click the Register Link.
3.    Enter the required data – your email address will be your user name.
4.    Confirm your password be re-entering it.
5.    Congratulations!  You’ve created a new personal account with Clinical Key.
